Purpose of the project
Volunteering is at the core of Rosatom's corporate culture

A true talent factory in Hi Tech
In the first AtomSkills 2016, there were 400 participants competing in 10 competencies. In 2022, more than 1,500 people from 40 regions of Russia competed in 39 professional competencies. Along with nuclear industry enterprises, the competition included teams from EVRAZ, SIBUR, Russian Railways, and Rostec.
Corporate volunteering at Rosatom has developed as a system since 2018.

"Any company striving to remain competitive and efficient must be driven by the needs of society and take responsibility for solving social and environmental problems. The nuclear industry is strategic in our country, so Rosatom is entrusted with a great responsibility for the development of the regions. And when we see how the world is changing in regard to sustainable development, we can't stay aside; we think we should be leading the way, actually. Our volunteer and CSR programs have a significant impact on the social and environmental landscape in our regions of presence."
Rosatom's corporate volunteering program includes over 150 projects.
Intellectual volunteering is about helping with professional competencies. Lawyers and psychologists, for example, can give free advice, and web designers can build a website for a charitable foundation.
The "#Vmeste" program now includes 28 projects
aimed at developing information technology, education, mass media, and improving the urban environment in nuclear cities.
The first Miracle Tree was held in 2012
in Nizhny Novgorod, followed by other enterprises. Children from orphanages make postcards and write
what they would like to get from Santa Claus. Volunteers hang the cards on the Christmas tree in the lobby, and the employees sort them out, buy presents and give them to the organizers or leave them under the tree.
TVEL has been organizing blood donation actions for several years, this year 130 people became donors. The action takes place in March-April and September. An FMBA mobile blood center station comes to the company's head office, and employees can donate blood or plasma after undergoing a medical examination. In 2018, ASE launched the "New Life" project. Employees of the company donated blood for HLA typing (gene compatibility diagnosis) in order to get into the database of potential bone marrow donors.
