We work hand in hand with the best engineering schools and universities in Russia to ensure that new employees come to us with many of the necessary core skills. Many prospective Rosatom employees gather practical experience within the company and therefore new skills before they graduate through internships and project work.
At the core of our network are 18 partner universities in Russia, including the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI) as our strategic partner. Apart from Russian students, they teach over 1800 young people from Rosatom partner countries thanks to the government-sponsored scholarships. In additional to Russian curriculum, our universities offer 15 academic programs in English in nuclear and related areas.
The International Cross-University Cooperation encompasses 12 joint academic programs with 8 universities in 6 countries. We are also part of key international education networks: STARNET with 14 Universities from 7 countries, European Nuclear Energy Network, Nuclear Education, Skills and Technology Project supported by OECD NEA.
