The Rosatom Academy implements international WorldSkills standards in the nuclear industry

The development of employees of working and engineering specialties in accordance with international requirements is a guarantee of Rosatom’s technological leadership in the global market.

In 2016, the Rosatom Academy for the first time organized an industry-specific professional skill competition using WorldSkills standards, which became an annual industry championship. The winners of the championship become part of the Rosatom industry team to participate in the Russia National Championship of cross-industry professions in high-tech industries WorldSkills Hi-Tech Russia or become experts and mentors for the next generation of participants in the industry championship.

The Rosatom Academy also organizes the AtomSkills professional skills industry championship.

With the support of the Academy, a single industry expert community is being formed in the industry, which is faced with the tasks of developing mentoring, methodological support, and evaluating the quality of performed work and technological operations. In addition, competence centers have been created in the industry, thanks to which industry employees will have the opportunity to improve their skills using the most advanced technologies and programs developed on the basis of the WorldSkills methodology.

And also an expert community was formed, which included more than 700 experts. This is the basis for the formation of a transparent system of selection and assessment of specialists in vocational and engineering professions.
