Each Rosatom employee contributes to the success of the industry, strengthening its leading position, including at the global level. At the Corporate Academy, we help develop and unlock the potential of Rosatom's people - over 250,000 unique experts and leaders whose daily work allows the industry to be one step ahead, as it was 75 years ago.
The Rosatom Academy combines the functions of a classic corporate university, responsible for staff training and development, as well as a corporate center that manages major transformational projects in the field of human resource management. The Academy's portfolio includes more than 320 training programs and more than a dozen large-scale projects to promote the employer's brand and attract talented graduates to Rosatom; develop Rosatom's corporate culture in the field of digitalization and security; and develop the competencies of workers and engineers using the WorldSkills methodology; coordination with youth of Rosatom and others.
Yulia Uzhakina also spoke at the plenary session "New concepts and solutions in personnel training: how to ensure high qualification and efficiency of personnel", held during the XXI Summit of HR Directors in Russia and the CIS. The participants in the discussion were: the Director of the Bank of Russia University Andrey Afonin, the rector of "Gazprom Neft" Corporate University Ilya Dementiev, the Acting Rector, the Vice-rector for training and research at Sberbank University Igor Baranov, and the Deputy General Director for Human Resources Management and the Director of TMK2U Corporate University Elena Pozolotina.
The speakers discussed changes in technologies and teaching methods, transformation of corporate education in new conditions, and also shared know-how in training personnel of their companies in an era of change and uncertainty. Yulia Uzhakina said that the innovations in education that appeared in 2020 were primarily due to the transition to remote work in connection with the pandemic. She also shared her vision for the future of corporate universities. The head of the Rosatom Academy noted:
In the coming years, corporate universities will become the main social influencers and will focus on the “whole” person, rather than one part of him that goes to work, as life becomes seamless and clear boundaries between private and professional life disappear.
